The Yellow House
Designed by Arch. Kiro Marichkov in 1912 for a family from Sofia. With a large back yard and garden in front of the house. After being a kindergarten for many years during the communist regimen, in the 1990s, the building was restituted to the heirs of the original owners and subsequently sold.
The building is a masterpiece from the collection of the remarkable architect Marichkov. The new owners don’t support her and expect her to break down on her own. Unfortunately, it’s location in a prestigious downtown area in the state’s capital is the only thing that matters for them. Neither the historical, nor the cultural value is important.
