The Royal Electrical Pavillion
This small architectural jewel is located just behind the Royal Palace in the heart of Sofia. The building is the work of architects Victor Rupelmeier and Friedrich Grunanger, working on the reconstruction of the Royal Palace in Sofia. Initially, it was not intended for a power station, but for an exhibition pavilion for culture and public contacts of the Prince /King and his entourage.
In 1896 in the appendix of the pavilion was placed an electric dynamo, which supplied electricity to the palace. Then the building acquires the status of an electric power pavilion.
